In 2005 our church voted to become a Reconciling and Welcoming Congregation!  This means we voted to be a community that was open to all people including the gay/lesbian/bisexual/and transgendered community.   This was an important step for us as we felt we needed to witness to the incredible unconditional love of the God we have come to know in and through Jesus Christ.  At our church everyone truly is welcome!  This is not the case in all United Methodist Churches and we have vowed to work hard in our conference and in our denomination to become a truly inclusive denomination.
